Irish wit lives beyond the grave.

Two drunken Irishmen, Paddy and Mick, are wandering through a graveyard.

Paddy starts reading the gravestones and says,

“Mick, would you look at this? A fella here was 90 when he died!”

Mick asks, “Who’s that?”

Paddy replies, “Somebody called O’Toole from Kerry.”

Mick nods, “Ah, that’s impressive. But wait, there’s another one here—Murphy from Castletown! He was 99!”

Paddy exclaims, “Well, that’s nothing! Look at this one right by the gate!”

Mick peers over as Paddy points to the stone.

“The stone says 147!”

Mick is stunned, “147? That’s incredible! Who was he?”

Paddy grins, “According to the stone, it’s someone called Miles from Dublin!
